Dr. Jeremy Patelzick was born and raised in Ventura, graduating from Buena High School in 1994. He joined the US Navy and was trained as a dental technician (assistant) and was stationed in San Diego. During a trip back to Ventura he met his wife Catherine, an Ojai native, who he married in 1996 at the Cross in Ventura. While working for the Navy, he went to night school and received an Associates of Science in Biological Sciences from Grossmont College. He got out of the Navy in 2001 to pursue Dental School. He then went to SDSU earning his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. They then moved to Omaha, Nebraska when Dr. Patelzick attended Creighton University School of Dentistry earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2007. While attending Dental School, Dr. Patelzick and Catherine welcomed their first child, Garret in 2005.

After Dental School, he commissioned in the US Navy as a Dental Officer and was stationed at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, where he completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) in Dentistry. While at Camp Pendleton his second son, Connor was born in 2007. Upon completion of the GPR in 2008 Dr. Patelzick was stationed at Port Hueneme Naval Base with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4. During his 28 months with NMCB 4 he was deployed for 14 months, 6 months in Kuwait and 8 months in Afghanistan. His third son, Brennan was born 9 months after coming back from Afghanistan in 2011. In 2013, Dr. Patelzick was released from Active Duty with the Navy and elected to stay in the Reserves. Since release from the Navy in 2013 he was working as an Associate Dentist locally in Ventura and Carpinteria. In 2015 his daughter, Madeleine was born. Recently, Dr. Patelzick was promoted to rank of CDR in the Navy Reserves.

He is very active in his children’s lives, from Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts to Ventura Tigres track. As an active leader in Scouting he is involved in many community service projects with National Forest Service and other agencies around Ventura County. Dr. Patelzick is delighted to part of the Camarillo Business community and the community as a whole. He is a member of the California Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the Santa Barbara Ventura County Dental Society. He is also a member of two dental study clubs, Spear’s Study Club and Anacapa Dental Arts Study Club. Dr. Patelzick is dedicated to learning all the newest and update procedures and materials in the dentistry to better serve his patients.
